Fees and Charges

Administration fees are charged for the arrangement of each insurance policy to contribute to our telephone call charges, postage, credit and debit card processing charges, the costs incurred for the supply of policy booklets, policy schedules, endorsements, re-issued schedules, renewal invitations and all associated documentation.

Cancellation fees are necessary as when a policy is cancelled mid-term we are responsible for ensuring your Insurer is informed and a closing of the account submitted in the form of a bordereau statement in order to protect your position in respect of third party claims. We also have to claim the unused proportion of the premium back from the Insurer to balance our account against the refund we have made to you. In addition to this, insurers, our regulators and Her Majesty’s Revenue & Customs require us to retain certain information for a minimum of 7 years in a secure location in line with the Data Protection Act.
